Luck Be a Lady

This Frank Loesser classic was featured in the musical Guys and Dolls. This arrangement features the original Billy May big band chart with added orchestral components from recordings of Mr. Sinatra's live concerts and TV specials. Vanacore has added his unique touch to incorporate the range of colors that only a symphony orchestra can provide.

The song retains the original key of Db and represents fun times even if the lyrics aren't politically correct.

Mack The Knife (Vocal/Instrumental)

This version of Mack The Knife was taken from our 50's Medley because we had so many requests to use it as a separate  vocal. The perennial Bobby Darin favorite is in the key of Bb modulating to Eb for your featured male vocalist.

Another audience favorite.

Once In A Lifetime (Vocal)

From the Broadway smash Stop the World I Want To Get Off, this arrangement features an exciting brief intro that segues directly into the opening vocal. Excitement starts to ramp up as the vocal progresses through the first 8 measures and then segues into a 2 feel  "a la Samba". There is a clever modulation at the end and a few of the lyrics have been altered to fit the modulation. A fun and creative chart,  this arrangement is very suitable as an Opener to your concerts.
