It features an energetic “breakdown” where the piano plays a written out montuno followed by different orchestral entrances by sections mashed up with other popular Latin melodies.

This masterful arrangement juxtaposes the classic samba Brazil, with the George Gershwin classic, Rhapsody In Blue. The arrangement features piano and includes the original piano part to Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. There is an improvisation section in the arrangement that can be improvised by your pianist; alternatively, the chord changes can be found cued in the trumpet, trombone, and saxophone parts. The saxophones are, of course, optional. A real toe tapper!

These jazz classics were the centerpiece of a concert celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Berklee College of Music who commissioned the work. Concierto de Aranjuez by Rodrigo known as Spain (Chick Corea) in jazz circles is "mashed up" with the jazz vocal classic Birdland (Joe Zawinul). Your jazz fans will appreciate this arrangement.

This is a beautiful Victor Vanacore orchestration of the Tango in D Major by Isaac Albeniz, in which the bandoneon and guitar are emulated to capture the true classic sense of this composition. Highly cinematic in its approach, one can’t help but imagine being in the heart of Buenos Aires.
